The South London Waste Plan
Landfill space is running out and buried waste releases climate-changing gases. New ways of dealing with waste are needed. Croydon, Kingston, Merton and Sutton are working together to meet this challenge by developing the South London Waste Plan. Involving Young People in decision making
We are working with Involve (not for profit particpation experts) and Jigsaw4u (charity who work with young people) over the summer to talk to young people about getting involved in the decisions that affect their lives. There will be a series of events across the borough and in schools where young people will be able to tell us what's important to them and how they would like to have more influence in decision making.
