Overview

This consultation addresses proposed changes in the method used to calculate a persons contribution towards their non-residential services and support.

Why your views matter

The Council under its Transforming Lives agenda, is to start offering Personal Budgets to new and existing users of Adult Social Services. The introduction of Personal Budgets will necessitate changing the current charging policy, and the Council is required to consult regarding any proposed changes.

What happens next

Once the consultation period has closed, the responses will be analysed and a report will go back to Councillors in November for them to make a decision on implementation.
