Worcester Park Public Realm Improvements - Outer London Fund Project

Closed 8 Feb 2013

Opened 14 Jan 2013

Overview

Building on consultations in the Summer and Autumn of 2012 the Council has developed proposals for enhancing Worcester Park town centre. This consultation presents the proposals and asks for feedback.

To complete the consultation please download the document at the bottom of this page: 'Worcester Park Proposals'. The questions in the consultation will relate to this document.

Other detailed drawings can also be downloaded below. These are not essential but may be of interest. For ease of access you may want to keep this front page available and open the consultation in a new window/tab.

All the proposals can also be viewed in Worcester Park Library from 15th - 26th January and in the pop-up shop (44 Central Road) on Saturday 19th January.

The Outer London Fund (OLF) project in Worcester Park and North Cheam combines funding from the Mayor of London, Transport for London and the Council to make improvements to the look of both town centres with public realm works, as well as work with business and the community.

Why your views matter

  • Inform the public and stakeholders of proposed changes
  • Hear peoples views
  • Ask people which street 'furniture' they prefer
  • Ask people which type of paving they prefer
  • Ask people's opinions about the Shop Front Improvement proposals

What happens next

Thank you for joining in with the consultation. We will collect and collate responses and report to the OLF Project Board who will oversee the next steps. Development of final designs will take place in February and March, and construction will begin in March. We will also begin installation of new lamp columns and CCTV from late February.
