Help shape Sutton's new Environment Strategy

Closes 14 Dec 2026

Getting started

Related information

Sutton Council is writing a new Environment Strategy. It will guide the Council's future action on climate change and the environment over the coming years, and how it works with residents, community groups, businesses and partners. It covers six topics: warmer homes and cheaper bills; cleaner air for better health; easier, safer ways to get around; green spaces and nature; less waste, more reuse and recycling; and coping with extreme weather.

The Council's Corporate Plan sets out its priorities for the coming years. One of the key priorities is "An even greener borough" and launching a new Environment Strategy is one of its commitments. This survey is the first step. The strategy will set out how the Council takes this work forward based on what you tell us in this survey.

The Council can't do everything on its own, so we'll be clear about what we can and can't do, and report back on what you’ve told us and how it was used.
