School Streets Phase 1 - Parent survey

Closed 24 Jul 2022

Opened 4 Jul 2022

Overview

Sutton Council is committed to making the streets outside our schools safer and healthier for our children. We know that children are among those most affected by high air pollution levels, and air pollution has been linked to asthma, heart disease and can impact lung development. Meanwhile, using active forms of travel like walking and cycling have excellent benefits not only for the environment but also for the health of our residents. This is why we introduced 10 school street schemes across the borough in November 2021.

We are now undertaking a review of the School Streets following 6 months of operation, and are analysing traffic and air quality data outside the schools, as well as comments and suggestions received from Councillors and residents since November 2021.

We are now seeking your feedback on the scheme where your child goes to school. Your feedback will help us to understand how well the scheme is working and if there are any opportunities for improvement. We would be grateful if you could complete the survey before the closing date of 17th July 2022 and we thank you for your participation.

For more information on how Sutton processes your personal information please visit our Privacy Policy (opens in a new window).  Any comments you make may be made public on the Council's website, however we will remove all personally identifiable information.
