Closed 26 May 2023

Opened 28 Apr 2023

Overview

Sutton Council has received concerns from ward councillors and members of the public regarding speeding issues in the Morton Gardens area shown below.

The aim of the proposal is to reduce the risk of personal injury accidents, provide a safer environment for vulnerable road users, encourage walking and cycling in the area.

We are consulting you to seek your views on a proposal to introduce a 20mph speed limit in the Morton Gardens area shown on the plan below. The proposed 20mph speed limit area includes all streets bounded by the railway line (running between Manor Road and Plough Lane), Plough Lane, Croydon Road and Manor Road.
