Climate Change Adaptation (GRaBS)

Closed 14 Nov 2010

Opened 20 Sep 2010

Overview

Between 20 September and 14 November 2010, the council is seeking your views on what actions we should take to ensure the borough is better prepared for the unavoidable impacts of climate change. In Sutton, this could mean: higher termperatures and heatwaves; longer dry spells and water shortages; more severe and frequent flooding; increaseed threats to wildlife habitats and native species; and adverse impacts on human health and quality of life. The council's Draft Climate Change Adaptation Strategy sets out an extensive list of actions for dealing with the threats to Sutton. This questionnaire focuses on a more limited number of actions. Please rank the importance of the following measures for adapting to climate change on a scale of 1 to 3 (1 being the most important).
