Sutton's Statement of Licensing Policy Consultation

Closed 25 Nov 2018

Opened 2 Oct 2018

Overview

Sutton Council is reviewing its Statement of Licensing Policy and we would like to know what you think about alcohol, entertainment, and late night licensing in Sutton.

We want the borough to have a thriving night time economy which brings people and businesses to the area but at the same time we need to protect the rights of residents to be safe and to enjoy reasonable peace and quiet in their homes. The Council’s Licensing Policy helps determine how we achieve this.

You will find links to the documents under consultation at the bottom of this page and also within this consultation. These include:

  • Sutton Statement of Licensing Policy 2018 Draft; and
  • Sutton  Cumulative Impact Assessment 2018 Draft

The consultation will remain open until 25 November 2018. Any comments made during the consutlation period will be considered by members of the Council's Licensing Committee.

If you have any questions or queries regarding the draft policy, please do not hesitate to contact the Licensing Team either by email to licensing@sutton.gov.uk or by telephoning 020 8770 5000.
