In July 2019, Sutton Council declared a climate emergency and agreed a target of reducing carbon emissions in the borough to zero.
Urgent action is required to stop the worst effects of climate change on Sutton, and on the world.
We are now calling on all those living, working or studying in the borough to help shape our ambitious plans to tackle climate change.
Your views will help form our Climate Emergency Action Plan which will be published in June 2020.
Events will be held across Sutton between mid-February and mid-March. Through the events and this survey, we will gather feedback on possible actions and barriers which prevent more being done to tackle the climate emergency. Please join us at the events below:
In addition to these events, we will also be attending the borough's six Local Committee meetings. To find out when and where your next Local Committee meeting is taking place, check the committee dates calendar.
Please help to spread the word about the climate emergency by visiting our Facebook or Twitter pages and telling us what action you are taking. Share your pledge by posting a photo, video or comment with #ClimateActionSutton.
