Central Road Worcester Park

Overview

The Cheam North and Worcester Park Local Committee has agreed to consult residents and traders in Central Road Worcester Park on proposals to improve the flow of traffic and improve the environment for residents, traders, pedestrians, cyclists and users of public transport. The aim of the scheme is to encourage more people to walk, cycle or use public transport and reduce the number of local car trips. Funding for this scheme is available from Transport for London.

This year there is funding available from Transport for London to introduce measures along the length of Central Road. We are also currently investigating the options available to improve the flow of the traffic through the two traffic signalled junctions under the railway bridge and this will be included in a future phase of improvements.
